I had a difficult time getting past how odd looking Haley Joel Osment looks all grown up. Getting past that, however, I found this movie to be rather good. A high school sports movie, with a very decent twist. Nicely done.

This is more than just a basketball movie - it's a thriller full of suspense and action. Haley Joel Osment is fantastic as 'Gar', Robert Gartland. He plays the role of a high school journalist whose best friend and 'hero', Matt Morrison (Ryan Merriman) is the school basketball team's star player. The friendship of these best friends is pushed to its limits when they become involved with Matt's criminal brother Keith (Kenneth Mitchell) in a robbery gone awry.
