This is a fun film if you enjoy Jessica Alba in anything, which I do. The story goes along quite well and her dancing is very nice. I disliked her attempt at 'Hood' slang. It was not natural sounding from her. Other than that, she was fine and Missy Elliot was fun in a cameo. By the by, David Moscow plays the jerk producer who gets slammed on the face by Jess (Honey). He played the young Tom Hanks in "Big". All in all, it is sweet to see Jess helping out the kids, like Lil' Romeo, so check it.
I enjoyed this movie a lot and i love how jessica alba always gets so into character. Watch this if you love dance and music and if you enjoyed any other dance movie
The story is a bit cliché, but it's full with energy and positivism. The film is not build with efficiency and a little charm. Jessica Alba remarks her acting with the hip-hop dance, from whom such messages are rare. The result is not a work of a genious, but unexpectedly endearing.
I remember watching this on Dvd when it was first released and I absolutely hated it. I've never been a fan of films that are all about dancing so I have not clue why I bothered watching this. I don't really like Jessica Alba as an actress. She's not that great in this film at all. I hated the plot, it was boring and pointless to be quite honest. Definatly not a film I would recommend.
OH MY GOD!!!!! This is like the best movie of all time, and I don't even own it, I own all kinds of other movies, but not this one and it is like my fav!!!
omg i love the final dance and the music i believe by yolanda adams amazing! i wanted to see this film for ages and saw it just the other day and have watched every nite since i love the way jessica moves i just wish i had some1 to believe in my dancing!
As clichéd as it sounds, Honey is a winning film that will likely be accused of being genre fluff simply because it takes the moral high ground, giving viewers a strong female character who doesn?t compromise her integrity for 15 minutes of fame.
Jessica Alba was at her best in this film, i bet if not of this film, she would not have been the same Jessica we know today, she performes as a choreographer and her role really suite her perfectly. The tale of the movie is also nice, dance moves = brilliant..
