One sick movie cant say I liked it at all, was really slow at the beginning. Dont think I would watch anymore of his films.

November 21, 2007I highly recommend "Hostel" Part One which I know will become a Cult Classic. As for the sequel it will not be remembered. This film did not have the suspense and shock factor that the other film did. Although they used the same Hostel and some of the characters they just couldn't match up. I did like the fact that they had the main character from the 1st film in this movie but they should have had him through out the whole film because he played such a strong role in the plot. Instead of course they had what every horror film genre always has.. Using woman to appeal to the Str8ght Men.. and lots of nudity. More of the fact that they used 3 woman to go to the same Hostel and have the story replayed bored me. What I found interesting were the two characters that came to hunt and see how they went about the whole process. The best scene in this film to me was "the girl hanging over candles" For a sequel it wasn't bad but the whole factory seemed more like a corporate take over and made it look a bit cheesy.

October 30, 2007this movie was so suspensive... i love it... it creates a big heart beat and an open wide mouth wooowww!!!... it gives a lot of emotion and some imagination which scared me... its so eiiiiiiiiwwww but i liked it... hope theres a part III which is more kadiri and scary!!! nice one!!!!!!!

August 11, 2007you know I am a huge scary movie fan and have been my whole life. I was so excited about the first one because the previews were always just the torture parts but I went to see it and was very mad. I went to see a scary movie. It was mostly about these guys acting wild having sex and so on and then the last maybe 20mins of the movie is what it was supposed to be about! I have seen people say this is just like the first one but with girls. I refuse to waist 1hour and a half getting dissapointed again. Not bashing anyones opinion on this just expressing mine.

July 17, 2007well i usually love horror films but i have to say this sequel has disappointed me, loved the gore but what about the storyline/ending? Just didnt do it for me im afraid!

July 12, 2007First of all let me say I'm a HUGE horror fan. I loved the first one... thought that it was an innovative twist to the usual horror story line & the gore was incredibly gruesome, but equally awesome! This movie for me was quite enjoyable. I think the new storyline with the female leads made the premise of a human slaughterhouse seem especially brutal. For anyone who likes gory/bloody horror flicks that'll creep you out... give this one a look. For those of you who fail to see the point or think horror movies are gross... skip it and let the real fans enjoy.

July 12, 2007seems like most of you 'critics' already had opinions of the movie long before having seen it.
eli roth (director) made a decent picture in my opinion, but clearly that seems to be lost on a lot of people.
if you aren't into horror flicks, then stick to your Disney collection.

July 8, 2007i am so dissapointed with this fim, i was expecting a total gore fest, and to be honest it wasnt
i mean how cliched can one film be. couple this with empty promises of sickening violence and you get a wasted evening and utter anger at once again bein let down. admittedly there was one good scene in the film, but this is no where near enough to fulfil the need for violence in 1hr 30 minutes of film. yeah there are more deaths but you either only see the, shall i say, "foreplay" or the aftermath. On the part of the film that i thought was goin to be the climax, you see no death what-so-ever. i mean what is the point of this?? the film slowly builds up just to drop you on your face with a big fat " ha, you wanted to see what the crazy guy does next, well tough shit!!' actually thinking about it, this made the first one seem kinda, dare i say it, GOOD. i mean at least you get to SEE the violence, and surely thats what films like this are all about. unfortunatly, its not so.... -
July 1, 2007Not a bad sequel...and wouldn't be surprised to see this turn in to a trilogy by the end of next year.
Follows directly on from the first fantastically gory movie the story this time is about 3 girls instead of 3 guys...with much the same gruesome results!
You have to see it if you've seen the first...and if you haven't seen the first one...what are you waiting for?!
Great homage to the Japanese films that have obviously influenced these 2 films (Anyone spot Takeshi Miike in the first one....anyone?) A must see for people into these films like I am, only if to see what the Americans are coming up with in the way of gory storylines. -
June 30, 2007to be honest i know that everyone is different and we all like different movies but i am suprised that this has got more than 3 stars, i didnt think the first one was good it wasnt scary but just gory, a horror movie ha ha ive seen scarier comedies. The second one well is it just me or has anyone else who has watched this movie noticed thats its basically the same storyline but with female characters instead of male characters, both movies were crap i dont intend to watch them again, they are quite sadistic but to be fair i dont like that kind of thing but i enjoyed wathcing the saw movies and hostel part 1 and 2 aint even in the saw movies league to be honest i think that eli roth needs to look at these movies and think again about making another horror movie

June 16, 2007i refused to see this movie. i saw the first part and i understand some people love horror movies but its just not for me. i think that people who enjoy watching people get tortured are fucked in the head and should just keep it to themselves lol.

the only decent 5 minutes you get were the women being turned on by killing the girl
or the credits you decide
and as the man says about the bad films reviews
the classics revolve round one person
and the lists he gave go watch them cus theyl be alot better than this movie -

June 11, 2007This sequel manage to deliver a clever storyline with few twists & the same amount of gore as the first one but the torture & death scenes are more effective this time around.
