Critic Reviews

  • Brian Orndorf, BrianOrndorf.com

A good parody will make a forceful play for laughs, but this movie practically holds the viewer down in a tickle chair, drilling for any reaction. I admire the determination but the effect has worn off some. Maybe it's Sheen.

  • Charles Cassady, Common Sense Media

Daffy flight with the Airplane! crew; some crudeness.

  • Widgett Walls, Needcoffee.com

Well, it's not Airplane! but precious little is.

  • James Plath, Reel.com

Lloyd Bridges is the unflappable show-stealing Admiral Tug Benson, a battle-hardened veteran with more artificial body parts than the Six Million Dollar Man

  • Rob Vaux, Flipside Movie Emporium

No one does silly better than Lloyd Bridges.

An okay spoof movie, it has a fair amount of funny jokes, but it could have been a lot better.

Another funny farce. If you like anything by Mel Brooks, the Airplane films, or a Farrelly brothers masterpiece, then you'll love this.

The gags and jokes are pretty darn funny. Watched this on Mother's Day of '09 with my cousin and all I can say we laughed and had a good time. But Hot Shots 2 is slightly better. "I'm goin' to Disneyland."
