September 23, 2009One of Zhang Yimou's greatest. It's sweet, throws in touching themes and has a powerful script. Fight scenes are visually breath taking and well choreographed. This is definitley an amazing work of art.

June 14, 2009Yet another Chinese love story- I tend to hate love stories unless they involve lots of martial arts and elaborate costumes. The political subtext helps as well. One visual treat after another, and Takeshi Kaneshiro is the coolest of the cool.

May 31, 2009I use to watch Kung Fu theater with my sister quite religiously when we kids...Love the martial arts and this movie was very good.
