Critic Reviews

  • Colin Covert, Minneapolis Star Tribune

A zero-gravity repair job doesn't sound like a thrilling cinematic spectacle, but this 43-minute film is utterly gripping.

  • Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times

A movie like this can get you thinking.

  • Joe Morgenstern, Wall Street Journal

I've been to two launches, Apollo 11 and Apollo 12, and Hubble 3D is the first film I've seen -- and felt -- that does more than hint at the skeleton-rattling power of those stupendous rockets.

An excuse to release another 3D movie of astronauts in space, which as always is awesome - it's an entertaining way to watch the Hubble repair EVAs. But the movie is too short; there's not enough of the Hubble images and their science. The journey through the stars and into… More

A very engaging film, despite what seems like a pedestrian mission. The photography is spectacular, and the use of 3-D enhances the beauty of the space vista. I agree with the premise that the Hubble telescope may just be in the top 'Man-Made Wonders' category. An… More
