They aren't sanitized for Saturday morning broadcast, and they aren't meddled with as the feature films still tend to be.

Rob Vaux, Sci-Fi Movie Page
It probably ranks higher than either of the live-action Hulk movies: at once humbler in its aims and keener in its understanding of the character.

Peter Canavese, Groucho Reviews
Marvel's new deal with Madhouse Studio bodes well for the future. The Japanese animation giant...has the chops to produce spectacular, dynamic, colorful, stylish animation (or, rather, anime) that's an evolutionary leap for Marvel on the small screen.

WOLVERINE and HULK. Two animalistic maniacs. An awesome match! "Pure Rage" versus "Balls Of Steel"...
THOR's power versus HULK's rage! Another catastrophic rumble between two supernatural beings, toe to toe and head to head!
Fantastic double feature for Marvel junkies and Hulk fanatics.

Two superb mini movies including the Hulk, Thor and Wolverine and many more marvel characters. To me both were good but the Hulk and Wolverine one was the best to me or that I like more. Great times!!!
First: Vs. Wolverine, Hulk has been tearing a line across the Canadian countryside, leaving a swath of destruction in his wake. He has to be stopped, and there's only one man up to the job. He's the best there is at what he does, but what he does isn't very nice. He's Wolverine, an elite agent of Canada's top secret Department H, and he's been put on Hulk's trail with a single objective: stop the green Goliath...at all costs. Hulk and Wolverine are about to enter the fiercest battle of their lives.
Second Part: Vs. Thor: Asgard, realm of the gods. For ages, Loki the trickster has sought a way to bring defeat to his accursed stepbrother, Thor. But for all the battles Thor has fought, in all the nine realms, only one creature has ever been able to match his strength - a mortal beast of Midgard known as The Incredible Hulk. Now, with Odin, the almighty king of the gods, deep in a regenerative sleep, and the forces protecting Asgard at their weakest, Loki is finally ready to spring his trap. In an epic battle that will pit gods against monsters, that will test a hero's limits more than ever before, only The Mighty Thor can hope to prevail.

It's essentially geared toward a young audience that loves seeing endless and brutal fight scenes. That part of me loved it, as well as the John Romita Jr style animation. However, this is nothing great in terms of storytelling or characters. It's pretty corny at times, especially in the Thor segment, and things seem incredibly rushed.

The Thor section had great animation while the Wolverine side was pretty shotty. Story wise they both got the job done but I can say if you arent a fan of these characters or slug fests its just not for you.

I only watched Hulk vs. Wolverine. I don't really care for Hulk, you see, but I quite enjoyed seeing Wolverine go at him on Wolverine and the X-Men and so I decided to watch this one as well. It was all right. I love it when Hulk calls Wolverine "little man". :D

<i>Hulk Vs.</i> is nothing more than 2 short animations that put Hulk vs. Thor and Hulk vs. Wolverine.<p>"Hulk vs. Thor" is fast paced, and it isn't surprising since the run time is just over 40 minutes. There is a story to follow in the Asgard realm, and there is a little meat to it, but of course this animation is all about the action, hence the title.</p><p>There is a ton of action as Thor takes on Hulk before Hulk moves on to demolish everything else in his path, Thor then returns for seconds.</p><p>Visually, the animation is a little disappointing. Nothing special, but not terrible either. The voice acting is good and the other characters that appear are Loki, Hela, Amora, and Sif.</p><p>"Hulk vs. Wolverine" is just under 40 minutes and is also fast paced. The story focuses more on Wolverine, with characters like Sabretooth, Deathstrike, Deadpool, and Omega Red making appearances.</p><p>The action is intense and there is blood shown as well. The voice acting is good once again and there is more detail than the Thor animation when it comes to the visuals.</p><p>As a whole, <i>Hulk Vs.</i> is entertaining enough for fans of Marvel characters with easy to follow stories and major emphasis on fights.

Not bad couple of mini movies pitting Hulk against Wolverine and then Thor. Nothing of substance or really excitement, but for fans it's certainly watchable.

Hulk smash!!! I like the dangerously battle scenes between Hulk and Wolverine because they are no quitter to keep fighting and great characters including villians. And Thor is quite good in the story better, the characters are more defined, the battle scenes between Hulk and Thor are epic, and the animation is outstanding. I liked to watch this because I'm a <i>Marvel</i> fan.

Two "movies" on one disc. Yeah right, both of them together don't equal a typical full length film and the Wolverine end which way better than Thor's is only 37 minutes. A royal rip.

These two 40 minute adventures are simply 40 minute fights. With a title like Hulk Vs. that is precisely what you want. The outing with Thor is set in Thor's world and Hulk is used as a simple plot device before really breaking free. I've never been a big fan of Thor and with all the mythology it wasn't Hulky enough for me. Hulk Vs. Wolverine was much better. Wolverine was excellent and had some pretty cool lines and Hulk, though again used simply to bring other characters together, got to smash and bash. A great addition was the members of Weapon X. Especially Deadpool, who was voiced and animated brilliantly. One fantastic moment saw him trying to reattach his arm while a big fight rages in the background. It was certainly bloodier than I suspect the upcoming Wolverine feature to be. Another successful animation then, but Marvel really need to bring the stories and depth as well as all the characters.

This Hulk event is composed of two mini-movies. First up is Hulk vs Wolverine, easily the better of the two.
Basically Wolverine is called in to find out what's tear assing around a mountain city, only to encounter the Hulk and fight it. Problems arise when the evil Weapon X team shows up with plans of their own.
Beserker Rage ensues.
Sabretooth: You've gotta love our healing factors. I'm gonna enjoy killing you for days. And then I think we'll drop the Hulk on an orphanage or something just for fun.
The next flick is Hulk vs Thor which is just ok. It has a story involving Loki getting back at Thor by summoning the Hulk out of Bruce Banner to use him to beat everyone up, but the Hulk escapes control and just gets really really angry.
Loki: I will have this blasted hammer!
Thor: No. You will have it's thunder!
These flicks, mainly the Wolverine one, are most enjoyable when the fights take place, mainly because they involve destroying everything around the fighters.
The unrated status certainly helps, as we see limbs severed and blood spilled. Certainly better than what can be seen in the live action films.
The animation is solid enough and some of the voice acting is entertaining (Deadpool is dead on). All in all a decent enough divergence from the big budget stuff.
Deadpool: Logan, we missed you. And Weapon X just hasn't been the same without you. Nobody calls me "bub" anymore. And Omega Red's a bed wetter.
Omega Red: One day I will tear out your flippant tongue, Wilson.
Deadpool: He's very ashamed.

My favorite was Hulk vs Wolverine, but both are a must for any fan of the Marvel Universe. They are surprisingly entertaining throughout, but the icing on the cake was Deadpool's appearance in Hulk vs Wolverine. Every line he spoke was great.
My only real complaint are the running times. Hulk vs Wolverine is a pathetic 38 minutes, and Hulk vs Thor is a slightly better 45. But still, that is only a minor gripe. After seeing Hulk Vs. I am nothing less that psyched for Planet Hulk in February of 2010.

I'll briefly don my comic-book-nerd hat for this one - but, to be fair, I don't think these movies are intended for anyboby else.

There are two unconnected films in this package - Hulk vs Wolverine and Hulk vs Thor. Both episodes are well animated and visually true to the comic book characters they portray. Hulk vs Wolverine is entertaining with much snappy dialogue and credible action scenes. Hulk vs Thor, however, is far less so and gets the relative "power" of protagonists badly wrong - Hulk simply cannot be stopped whereas Thor is uncharcteristically limp wristed and vulnerable leading to an annoyingly one sided conflict which will make most Thor fans cringe and more honest Hulk fans cringe also. Still, both are worth a look, particularly if you're wearing a hat like mine.

Pretty dang good. Hulk pounds the crap out of everything and everyone in sight. But only if you make him ANGRY.
Not bad for cartoons these days.

I enjoyed it. I felt like Deadpool wasn't using his 'A' comedic material, but he was still funny. "Hulk Vs Thor" bored me, but that might be because I never got into Thor; I was much more interested in "Hulk Vs Wolverine" as I (and everyone on the PLANET) loves Wolverine, lol. But my question is: why did the writers portray Bruce Banner like such a WIMP?? I know he's puny compared to Mr. "Hulk-Smash!!!" but come on!

Hulk vs Wolverine was actually pretty good. Had a lot of action and was surprisingly very violent. Hulk vs Thor didn't do much for me though. But I wouldn't call either of them a movie. Both of them are barely an hour long.

Ok to start off there was way too many previews in the beginning. First I watched Hulk VS Thor, ok Thor is some anciet God who lives in Asgard with the other Gods and he flies around on a gay pride rainbow swinging his little hammer and saying things like "do you want to quarrel with me sir, I will give thee a lashing the likes you will not soon forget". Give thee a break, Loki brings Hulk to Asgard to defeat his stepbrother Thor. Hulk and David Banner are separated and Hulk is put under a spell that allows Loki to control. He goes on a rampage destroying his city and beating the shit out of Thor. Hulk has some great hair in this epic of super powers. In the end we get to go to Hel and try and retrieve David Banner's soul from Hela the ruler of the underworld and Loki's daughter. Hulk Tired.
Hulk VS Wolverine was next, Logan is commissioned by the Government to track down and destroy if necessary a large green creature known as the Hulk. Logan finds him and they battle but are both captured by Project X. Sabertooth, Omega Red, Deathstrike and Deadpool are all there. They want Wolverine back and to use the Hulk as a weapon. Deadpool is a smart ass as usual and makes for some pretty comedic relief. Deathtrike and the crew all wanna kill Logan and they all battle, Hulk is released and wants to kill everyone. They gave Hulk a few lines in this one and his caveman lingo is also pretty funny, so in this one he gets a personality but no cool hair do.
