Critic Reviews from Rotten Tomatoes

""I Married a Monster From Outer Space" is surprisingly well-acted. Everyone is dead serious, and not in a campy way as the title might suggest. It works. There are even some genuinely chilling moments."
‑ Paul Chambers, Movie Chambers
"One of those many 1950's cheesy hokum low-budget Cold War paranoic sci-fiers."
‑ Dennis Schwartz, Ozus' World Movie Reviews
"Inexplicably overrated, but okay sci-fi film."
‑ Ken Hanke, Mountain Xpress (Asheville, NC)
"A tongue-in-cheek examination of the ways commitment tends to toy with the male brain."
‑ Rob Humanick, Suite101.com
"Lacks the polish of the science fiction classics of that era...but it shares the sincerity and appealing earnestness..."
‑ Paul De Angelis, culturevulture.net
"Geeky title for a really creepy flick."
‑ Gerry Shamray, Your Movies (cleveland.com)
"Acerbic satire of matrimony"
‑ Fernando F. Croce, CinePassion
"Popular cult film that, like I Walked With a Zombie, has the unfortunate distinction of being a quality picture saddled with a wretched title."
‑ Matt Brunson, Creative Loafing
"Forget the title. A lot of fun and it is even semi-intelligent."
‑ Bob Bloom, Journal and Courier (Lafayette, IN)
