A very particular, shocking on-the-road spaghetti-western, with a total badass villain divinely played by my beloved Tomas Milian, who based his character Chaco on Charles Manson.
Fulci once again manages to surprise with an original and impressive film, in which moments of cru...( read more)

Goofy, interesting western from Fulci (is it me or did ALL Italian genre filmmakers eventually make a western?) has a plot that doesn't make a lick of sense, a good cast and some really gruesome moments here and there. Like all Fulci films, the female lead is humiliated along th...( read more)

The Maestro's western, and it's really quite good. Though very downbeat and vicious it's a well told story with a great performance from the villain.

A bit of a mixed bag with this one. Its a damn good movie thats bogged down by one of the worst spaghetti western scores ive ever heard in my life. And its composed by three rather competant fellows, Fabio Frizzi, Franco Bixio and Vince Tempera. Its rather 70's rock-folk in a bad...( read more)

Downtrotten western yarn atypical of most of it's spinning. Even though villain Chaco got his just desserts this is hardly a hero's tale; bleak even in the sight of birth. Props to Fulci

Tomas Milian rules as a Mexican Charles Manson. Lots of gore and rape. Top shelf. I generally find Fulci's stuff to be pretty hit or miss, but he does good here. The pregnent chick is pretty hot too.

An atypical western that Fulci pulls off amazingly. It's endearing, yet sorrowful and very much about struggle. Tomas Milian as the Charles Manson-esque character is freaking scary and Lynne Frederick is so sympathetic and vulnerable here. Fabio Testi's face is a little blank her...( read more)
