Another great Ice age film with plenty of new characters. Just as good as the first two films and I liked it slightly more than the second. Great to see some dinosaur characters. Plenty of funny moments and great detailed animation work.

while not a scratch on the arse of the first two... the first 45 minutes are still genuinely funny... then it dwindles off into obscurity. it has the most versatile animaton out of the three if nothing else, but really... forgetting everything else it's a must see for christmas! ...( read more)screw criticism

    MY TAKE
sequels are seldom as good as the first, especially when it comes to those of the animated variety. but I found this third film of the very popular Ice Age franchise to be quite entertaining. definitely one that the whole family can enjoy.

aye... and Simon Pegg as Buck = perfection.

    very cute family flick. ♥

The sub-zero heroes from the worldwide blockbusters “Ice Age” and “Ice Age: The Meldown” are back, on an incredible adventure...for the ages. Scrat is still trying to nab the ever-elusive nut (while, maybe, finding true love); Manny and Ellie await the birth of their mini-mammoth, Sid the sloth gets into trouble when he creates his own makeshift family by hijacking some dinosaur eggs; and Diego the saber-toothed tiger wonders if he’s growing too “soft” hanging with his pals. On a mission to rescue the hapless Sid, the gang ventures into a mysterious underground world, where they have some close encounters with dinosaurs, battle flora and fauna run amuck – and meet a relentless, one-eyed, dino-hunting weasel named Buck.
