A beautiful movie about a girl who became blind after a skating incident and showed true spirit nevertheless.

This is my guilty pleasure. Robby Benson, Tom Skerritt and Colleen Dewhurst give beautiful underrated performances. And it has one of the best endings ever. "We forgot about the flowers".

Alexis Winston (Lynn Holly Johnson) is a young figure skating teen with the potential to be a champion skater for her rise and fall from super stardom from tragedy accident to lose her sight. She begins competing in figure skating again.

I didn't know quite what to rate this...sometimes these 70's and 80's films are so dated it's hard to overlook their flaws. This was a very touching story once I got through the first half...the second half was good and I shed a few tears at the end...it killed me when she said "Here's for you Mom". And without Robby Benson I don't know if I would have liked it as much.

Ok, movie. Liked Robby Benson's character, but I still can't believe he did the voice of Beast in Beauty and the Beast. Hated the girl who played Lexie, she was a terrible actress!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's just a really nice movie to melt any heart. It is a chick-flick, but it could appeal to the softer side of any man.

One of my childhood repeat-movies. Over and over and over and cried every time. Typical 80s stuff. Soppy, but wonderful

At about the age of 12, this movie moved me so much. It's about living your dream, true determination against all odds and never giving up. Aside from that, it's a story of young love, family ties and how they all work together to accomplish miracles.

This movie runs the gambit of emotions and political statements. Everything from the problems of single parenting to the exploitation of young athletes. But, it is an outstanding film. Take tissue. You will need it.
