In the OVA series, Misou is a young man who has never had much luck with the ladies. Throughout high school and college he never managed to meet anyone he hit it off with. Now, somewhat belatedly, he has become smitten with a beautiful young woman named Nagisa. Desperate to win her heart, Misou finds that this isn't going to be easy because he not only has competition in the form of the suave and handsome Kaizuka and the unattractive Kujira, but also manages to put himself in rather embarrassing spots with other women whenever Nagisa is present.The television series picks up where the OVA left off, as Misou finds himself back where he started even though he and Nagisa shared some tender moments. Now, Misou must try once again to win over the girl of his dreams across 12 episodes.
