I remember that it took a long time to come out because it needed work. I think it was almost two years between the first trailer I saw for it and its release. The first trailer's effects looked real bad and said coming soon to theaters. Then months went by and I saw the same one but it said coming soon to video. I worked at a video store at the time and we had it on the coming this month poster. Then the week it was due it was cancelled. Then a few months later I saw a new trailer for it with better effects that said coming soon to theaters.
