Good film and script, don't really like Scarlett Johansson in this one but the plot is interesting and Dennis Quaid and Topher do a good job.

Immemorable. Cute when I first saw it in the theater, but now I can't recall most of it.

I liked this way more than I thought I would because it is not what I thought it would be. It is much more a subtle, honest character drama than a formulaic romantic comedy, and it gave me a genuine interest in its characters. The film is admirable but unfortunately forgettable.

A very charming movie, however not as funny the second time around. However, after not watching it for a few years, it does get funny again- but I don't think as funny as I originally thought. The dinner scene however is still a real kicker- best part of the whole movie!

I saw that an actor from "that 70s show" was starring this movie, and I HAD to see it. It was nice, but not really the movie I would pick to take with me to an island.

I liked this film. Its rare in a film that you get a character who is just an all around good person without any major flaws. It was refreshing to see a good family with good parents with real problems.

The point of [Weitz's] story isn't to deliver a tidy resolution, but to let us get to know two characters a little and like them a lot. full review
Fresh comic thinking spices up this smart cookie of a satire. full review
The picture has a pleasurable, good-natured glow. You can diagram its various problems as you're watching it and still walk away feeling you've had a good time. full review
