I'm shocked. It's a really good Van Damme film. If you like prison films at all this one's a winner.

Very dumb, but also a lot of fun.
The story is slim and just gives an excuse to move from one bout of violence to the next. Shawshank Redemption this is not. At the end of the day, it is a vehicle for JCVD to do what he does best and he does a grand job. He's not a great actor...( read more) -

alot like death warrant, this cant decide whether it wants to be an art film or mainstream, tries to mix shawshank redemption with martial arts and ends up horribly wrong.

Definitely a direct to video kind've movie. Im a big Van Damme fan so any movie hes in Ill watch. Story was weak and fight scenes got old but still atleast worth renting.
