Good cast. Heartwarming movie about love during WWI. Chris plays a young Ernest Hemingway who falls for an older nurse during the war.
There's no doubt in O'Donnell and Bullocks chemistry but the film just stinks.I liked it alot preteen but god its just really cheesy
amazing sandra is a great actresse loved her roll and the plot was amazing evebn that the story was heartbreaking
A drawn out, uninvolving, unbelievable melodrama with some pretty cinematography and a prettier cast.
Sad but in many cases true. Love is something that you don't know you lost until it's gone, at least for some people.

a very mello film wish they don't really make anymore. reminded me of 'a river runs through it' in that way. i enjoyed this film. nicely told and a good cast for the roles. the ending was a surprise which added to the charm of this tale.
I've only seen this because I had to in English when I read A Farewell to Arms, and I hated that book so I didn't really like the movie either.
