Comes the Wall Street crash, and Morley's fortune is wiped out. It is then he realizes how much he loves his estranged daughter, leading to a tearful reconciliation. Onslow Stevens co-stars as "The Professor," emphasizing the bookishness of his characterization with a pair off ill-fitting spectacles. In Love With Life isn't exactly a barrel of laughs, but it gets by on its sentimental value. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
