A few problems with this movie were;
1) Jason Stathem as a farmer? Wrong look for a farmer and when can farmers fight like that?
2) Too many cuts and scene felt out of place.
3) Complicated and confusing dialogue.
4) Ray Liotta appearing out of nowhere with no explanation to who he was.
With many more problems, this movie felt more like a four part TV series. Best part was seeing Ron Perlman request the chicken. Just embarassing to see him do.
I really liked this movie. It was a fun movie to watch. I was surprised by some of the actors who were in this, but most everyone did a really great job. I do think some else should have played the king, I just had a hard time seeing Burt Reynolds in that part.
Try to put aside films obvious flaws and emerse yourself in the storyboard environment, and you might find yourself having fun afterall. As long as you don't overload your expectations, you shan't be dissapointed. You'll soon find that this movie is beaming with a plethora of battle sequences, for the blood thirsty warrior inside you, as well as snipets of drama, and romance. Comparative to such recent films as 300 and Beowulf, which receive heavy criticism for their over emphasis on violence.
Lord of the Rings , this is not however, it is somewhat unique. The casting alone demonstrates my point, In what other film are you ever you going to find this variety of actors ? The lead role as played by Statham, feels misplaced due to his straight forward approach to acting, perhaps someome more able to express subtilties would have done better. If your an adventure fan or make role playing online your hobby of choice, you should definetly consider seeing this in the theatre while it lasts.
um.. it's a Uwe Boll film... how can it EVER be good. These people who ACTUALLY went and seen the movie.. what the F IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?!?! Where have you been to know wht Uwe Boll is the most awful director ever and only does video game movies to get money.... Let the child beater waste his money and hopefully everyone will just boycott his films...
Well I was kind of excited to see this till I saw uwe Boll was directing it so then I decited maybe ill be better off asking for them to pay me to see it???
because noone deserves to be torchured like that.

I love the Dungeon Siege games and want to see this movie. I wonder how it will turn out... I don't have too many high hopes since the Eragon movie. >.<
First epic tale to kick-off the year of 2008. I can't wait to see movie. I'm big into movies with battle scenes and epic adventure.
