Part of the "Maneater Film Series. This is a pretty creepy movie from the start. If it doesn't make you skin crawl your a better man then I am. Its about a some students that go backpacking in the Jungles of India, One of them is bitten by a poisonous spider and they are to far f...( read more)rom a town or village to get help so they must find a well known doctor who is lost in the jungle, a Dr. Lecorpus, (Like I would go looking for a guy with this name). The Jungle Tribe that the good Doctor lives with worships spiders. But there is something shaky going on here. The good Doctor is selling the body parts of missing hikers to the Black Market. Its one of the better films in Maneater Film Series. I have to give it 4 stars

This movie was OK for a film of its type if you do not expect to much. The movie has some good CGI of the spiders and they look OK. Lance Henriksen is a good choice for the doctor so he can do his made man thing again and is a good star name for the movie. The rest of the ...( read more)cast are good for mostly young teen actors. The direction was OK if a bit slow moving. The sound is also good and really helped the film along.

This film scared me out of my skin. The real spiders were terrifying and even a couple of the CGI one were too. If you are an Arachnophobic, you either want to watch this to scare yourself or you'll hate it. I chose to scare myself and yes i was scared, it really made me squirm a...( read more)nd wince. I love all these nature against the world B movies flicks and this is a made for TV B movie but it still good if not a little laughable in places. The spiders are well done, in this you see them descend from the ceiling and it does look good. Also it does make you squirm when you see them land on some poor helpless victim. The story is a little different than most nature/bug horror movies. Lance Henriksen is chilling as the sinister doctor who you would trust your life with if you were surrounded by spiders everywhere you turn. The only gripe i had with this film was that how it ended. Although very chilling to watch, how could they do that to a friend? I'm glad that i wasn't in this shoes at that moment. It would have been my worst nightmare.

In the spider's web is a love it or hate it film. If you love spider horrors than you'll enjoy this just don't expect too much and go along for the ride and you'll be fine. If you dont like them, then stay well clear of this one.

Not sure if this is suppose to be a horror, I suppose if you were afraid of spiders it would be pretty terrifying.
