Fun, enterteining, genuinely amusing. Harrison Ford's very good interpretation, perfect in Indy's role. I do not believe that it could demand him more to this movie.

The movie is just like a pile of tard that has been lying around as old as Ford himself. What a lame and pathetic excuse for a movie. The garbage of filth coming from Spielberg and Lucas is such a shame. If you want to waste your money then go and see it. Cate Blanchett is a fine actress, probably one of the best, but in this she disgraced herself. Why even bother taking a role like this? Ford is too old to play Indy. At least, when Sly made Rocky Balboa and Rambo, he looked good and both movies were millions of miles better than this excuse. Just like Emmerich disappointed with 10,000 BC, Spielberg and Lucas go a mile further. I mean, come on, was Spielberg trying to make ET 2????? loooooooooool

Gee, I guess if a movie is part of a series then I should rate it higher because of this? ROFLMAO!
As far as Star Wars ep. 1-3.
I was referring to the gratuitous overuse of CGI in place of writing, dialog, story and character development that Lucas is now famous(or infamous)for.
Interesting use of the term "tight-wad", made absolutely no sense in that sentence.
So you're saying that some movie critics are stingy people when it comes to their reviews?
Of course this would mean that they create reviews and don't let anybody else read or view them.
*scratches head*
Either that or you don't know the proper use this term (along with not knowing what it truly means) or for some strange reason you believe that these so called movie critics are in fact misers.
Classic!
Another person proving my point.

Why is everyone so critical of this movie? It was fun and entertaining. I can understand fanboys picking apart comic movies, but I don't see how people can do the same to a series like this. Lighten up. And as for comparisons to the newer Star Wars movie, that's the kind of thing tight-wad movie critics do. Ya just can't please anyone anymore.

FUCK YOU George Lucas!posted 55 days ago -
This from the Yahoo! movie entertainment site is exactly how I feel about this film. This guy is the exact same age as I and I remember when I went to the theater for the first time to see Raiders of The Lost Ark. Awesome is the only word to describe my feeling at the time.
Here is the review.
Stay Away!!!

I am 41 years old and, as a teenager, I remember the magic of the first Indiana Jones film, watching it in the movie theatre in Des Moines. Iowa -- simply a glorious masterpiece of film work.
I guess it is just hit and miss with making a film. Take two titans of the industry, Steven Spielberg and George Lucas, and see what kind of a steaming pile of crap they can produce (I am talking about this last Indy movie). Jeez Louise, did they even watch the movie before it was released?. No good answer exists for that question. No matter what, they are not going to be able to defend this dog. Stay the hell away from this movie!
I would like to think that these two men (Spielberg and Lucas), both of whom are well on in their careers and rich beyond anyone's dreams, would like to be concerned about integrity and simple self respect. But, no way! Oh man, what a smeller this movie is! It would be difficult, or really not even worth anybody's time, to try to describe in just how many ways this film is pathetic. Because of the legacy behind this film, I went to see it, and I know many others will as well. But, maybe someone will get my message and wait a few years for it to come out on free TV. Then you can know that I am right and it will not have cost you any money, nor time out of your life and the obvious fact that you got suckered (these things are what really upset me about the experience).

This film was fantastic. Anyone who say it's not, really needs to grow up and stop comparing it to the original films.

Alas: under-written and over-ridiculous. Ford is still great as Jones but I wanted more about his age and how time passes. Remember the great line from Raiders: "It ain't the years, honey, it's the mileage." Wanted more connection to earlier characters: what happened to Short Round? Indy's father? Sallah? Shia is okay, I guess; Blanchett quite fun; Karen Allen and John Hurt are woefully underused, criminally so. The climax is simply a retread of Raiders. Some fun moments, good FX to be sure, but Crystal Skull solidifies my opinion that of all 4 movies, only Raiders achieves true cinematic greatness.

yea dude, i waz reading the comments on indiana jones 4, ur remarks were wrong dude. i mean, it would have been a good ending with the last crusade but thats not what people wanted. they wanted more indy. you might not know but people believe the mayans, which was involved in the film, were aliens, or had something to do with alens. so they thought outside of the box like instead of getting chased by normal people trying to get the artifacts back, which they kind of did though and they added a little twist. you know itz good, yourwe just a retard who dosent hav any good taste.
jerk,

This is the exact type of moron I was referring to in my last comment. Completely proving my point.posted 59 days ago -
Do you think this lastest movie was a good idea, HELL NO! Should they have left it as a trilogy? YES!!!...
They should have left Indy ride off into the sunset... Just like the most recent Star Wars Movies compared to the originals, This movie compared to the trilogy... IT SUCKS!!!!!posted 59 days ago -

how is this movie better than the third?the third movie is my favourite, evne better than raiders of the lost ark.this isn't a real indiana jones movie to me because they overcomplicated and weirded up the plot and they used cgi.and the idea of a pointless character like ray winstone's has no meaning whatsoever.as an action movie its ok but it is no classic like the old movies.even temple of doom is better.it had some memorable scenes
