For J-horror this is quite disappointing. It may pack the undicipherable plot, but it does not deliver on enough (and powerful) indescribabbly creepy imagery. This crew also doesn't really know how to handle special effects. They don't show much (probably because of the budget) a...( read more)

Great movie that's atmospheric, bloody, and unnerving. Unfortunately, however, it's nearly ruined by its completely unnecessary, overcomplicated twist ending. Still, worth a watch if you're into Asian horror!

I had high expectations with this movie but I only ended up being disappointed.
The trailer looked good. Some scenes of the movie was sorta good, there were a few jumpy moments but.. overall this was just.. ok-ish.

When you think about Japanese horror movies, you usually think of nothing.
Because most of you don't watch Japanese horror movies.
But the ones who do, think of titles like Ju-on, Ringu, Honogurai mizu no soko kara (Dark Water), Rinne, Ôdishon and the likes.

I dont care what anyone says I liked this movie. Sure the plot has it's weak points, and the acting is stale at times, but it succeeded in entertaining me.

The trailer looked good. Some scenes of the movie was sorta good, there were a few jumpy moments but.. overall this was just.. ok-ish.
Youll see something written at the cover of the dvd like, "from the blablabla of The Ring and The Grudge"...
Meh... There are more entertaining and worthy horror movies out there than this. This isnt of the same caliber of the grudge or the ring.
I wasnt that satisfied watching this. -
