The first film was hard to follow, and this does an admirable job. Rather than continuing where the first film left off this delves into the past, examining the rise of Sam, and the hidden secrets in people's past. Great piece of work.

When I first saw this I liked it more than the first one. Time has passed and now it's just a notch below, but this film does have a more epic feel with amazing performances from Wong and Logan. I hate prequels for the most part, but this is a great one.

I would consider IA 2 a somewhat successful prequel to the earlier hit Internal Affairs. There are more shooting scenes and violence compared to the first. However I do miss the performances of the two A list male leads, Andy and Tony. I do have difficulty in catching the Canton...( read more)
