Its a movie based on dialogue and im totally into this kind of movies. Steve Buscemi is a pleasant actor in every characters he plays and im happy he is not yet spoiled (becoming a superstar). It was a real good drama that kept me curious until near the end of movie, but the end of story was disappointing, the same crappy plot that you find in every movie.
Overall i realy enjoyed watching the movie which was also directed by him. the camera on hand shots and the ringtone of her mobile were excellent choices.
If it wasnt for the ending it would have been an absolute 5-star movie in my opinion.

I've recently become a Buscemi fan, and well with GI Joe coming up, I'm hoping to become a Sienna Miller fan also.

The characters are not very likable, but they are never boring, and are quite fascinating. Teh dialogue is well-written, very biting, and makes for some really good battles of wit and ego. Buscemi (Who stars, directs, and co-wrote the script) is fantastic as the frustrated, bitter journalist with skeletons in his closet. He's my favorite actor, and I love him as a director, but it's Sienna Miller who really amazes me here. She is excellent as the vapid, manipulative starlet who has a lot more depth to her, and is smarter than she leads on. This is a good movie, but it would be amazing and much better off as a stage play.

I had heard some good things about this film and I am a pretty big fan of Steve Buscemi, but overall I found this film overly forced and pretentious. It was hard to buy into most of the story and overall it just wasn't that interesting(Nothing all that unique). The acting is good and the characters are quite good, but the setting and circumstances of the film just doesn't come across smoothly, it seemed all too overly staged and hence less enjoyable. I would only recommend this to people who are huge fans of Steve Buscemi.

Siena Miller is sexy, period-the end. Beautiful character study about celebrity. Buscemi and Miller play very well off each other.
I enjoyed every minute of this.

I really enjoyed this film, no surprise really because I like Sienna Miller and Steve Buscemi is one of my favorite actors. When I saw that not only he was acting but he was also directing this I told to myself I NEED TO WATCH THIS NOW!!!! I mean the guy is simply brilliant and I haven't seen one thing of him that iis not worth watching. His performance, as well as Miller's, is simply captivating! Both characters are strong and the fact that throughout the entire film they are basically alone on screen all the time and still manage to be powerful is amazing, not many actors can pull that off and they definitely did. The dialogue is genius, I mean the conversations between them and the conversations they have on the phone with other people are fantastic because you get to discover trait after trait about both of them. The sexual tension between them is awesome, I wanted them to get it on and everytime they kissed I was happy. My only problem with this movie is the ending... as cool as it was because of the twist I think it takes off the power that we were shown of both characters. I mean, it was obviously intentional and I get why, but still, there was no change in neither character and that makes them a little weak. Still, I really liked it and the experiment was definitely worth it.

Interview is a recent film directed by and starring consistently brilliant actor Steve Buscemi. In fact, it is a remake of a 2003 film of the same name by deceased Dutch filmmaker Theo Van Gogh. Buscemi stars as Pierre, a political journalist who is forced to do a interview with an "it girl" soap opera star named Katya, played by Sienna Miller. It's a minimalistic concept that results in a snappy, dialogue-driven character study. Indeed, 75mn of its 90mn run-time are spent in one set with the just the two characters interacting with one another. Interview is very much an actors' film, which is what I would expect from Steve Buscemi, who you could definitely call an actors' actor. This is the first time I've seen a film directed by Buscemi, I only learned after watching this that he has directed several films before (which I intend to check out asap). And his directing style meshes well with the material, showcasing the fine performances of the leads and remaining largely unburdened by anything other than the developing relationship between the characters, their revelations and their conflicts, the human drama that naturally erupts when two people at the end of their rope are in one place for a significant amount of time. The only real beef I had with the film is that I'm not sure I liked the way it ended; underwhelming to be sure. But overall, I really liked this film, and it really shows why Buscemi is so well respected; that he can put in such quality work both behind of and in front of the camera. His co-star deserves a lot of praise for her work in the film as well. Buscemi fans, scoop this one up!

directed by bushimi, a two hander between 2 actors, miller and bushimi, both do a great job, as actress and reporter, who really dont want to be there, but events turn, and maybe the job will get done, a brief running time helps, and the film is never dull, as the topics discussed, moves along nicely, plus a lot of bitching

I thought Buscemi was ok in the flick but I really didn't feel as if the movie was telling a story. The conversation shifted heavily so fast that i was wondering if these people had some sort of A.D.D. issue.
It's a good premise but I don't think it was pulled off as well as it should have been.

I enjoyed the dynamic that both actors were trying to display throughout the movie. The chemistry between Buscemi and Miller really worked. Buscemi used really good camera work to get the essence of both characters in the apartment. The character mood swings did become a little predictable but I wasn't really bothered. I was so enthralled with both characters that I would have loved to have seen more between the two. Buscemi does a very good job in directing this piece.

Was an excellent drama until the last 15 minutes, when it lost it's momentum and became a bit predictable. Buscemi is always great to watch and is a very convincing actor. Miller played the deceitful spoiled bitch quite well and there was some great chemistry between the two, which I was not expecting before I saw the film. I was all ready to give this a 5 stars before the ending, it's a shame really. I really love movies based purely on dialogue, often they are drama at its best.

Sienna Miller shows that she is not just beautiful but also a very good actress in a role which very much so mirrors her true life experiances. Steve Buscemi directs the movie well and also captures the full journalistic character. With just the two on screne for the majority you are caprivated by the way the relations seems to grow and how it develops. A must see for Buscemi fans.

Really enjoyable for me, but just not for everyone. Mille really shows the great actress she has become, I hope to see her more on screen..Different plot and script, i just wished to be a different endin, but i guess they took it for the side

This was quite an unusual Drama but nevertheless I guess I could expect something like this from Buscemi who was brilliant I guess as both director and lead actor. I think by Buscemi acting in his own film made it so much better even though I didn't like the ending as I was rooting for his character and not that annoying actress.

The real gem of this film is discovering Sienna Miller. Beautiful and smart she handles her role her with a lot of sass and depth. My main problem with the film itself is that that conversation doesnt feel real... it feels written. Handled well by Miller and Buscehi but still ultimately with a canned vibe. The cat and mouse game is fun, but it's difficult to follow since you never know what is real or bullshit. Nice ending. I will definately be interested to see where Miller's career goes. Was it me or was she trying to look exactly like Jessica Simpson?

Very strange and doesn't really have much point. The actors were good with what they had to work with, but this movie had no reason to be made. It is a great movie to listen to while doing other things though.

Sienna Miller & Steve Buscemi are both very good, but in the end this bland character study just left me cold.
