A filmed Broadway stage musical. Was a blockbuster in the 1980s and this film captures that magic for history. Avoid if you do not like theatre.

This is perhaps one of the funniest musicals ever! When I first saw it, I about laughed my head off with the great humor shown. It also has great music. Very very addicting. I loved every moment of it. Funny, sad, happy, it has it all.

Really liked this movie,Okay play.
It intertwined all the Grimm fairy-tales into this one story and it works.Also musical.
So much fun....enjoyed immensley.

June 5, 2008What a great film! I performed as Little Red Riding Hood in the Lake City Playhouse production and although ours was done quite well, it's hard to beat the original broadway cast!
