Critic Reviews from Rotten Tomatoes

"The first -- and in most ways, the best -- of Bela Lugosi's 'Monogram Nine' from legendarily penurious producer Sam Katzman."
‑ Ken Hanke, Mountain Xpress (Asheville, NC)
"Low budget film with brilliant direction."
‑ Michael E. Grost, Classic Film and Television
"An absurdist masterpiece for its title alone"
‑ Fernando F. Croce, CinePassion
"It's one of those laughable and forgettable cheapie films that should be appealing to cult fans and those viewers who can never get enough of Bela."
‑ Dennis Schwartz, Ozus' World Movie Reviews
