Would never have bothered with this film if it hadn't been for the fact that it was one of Katherine Moennig's break through films.
Every actors starts from the bottom and she's done a few indie films like this one that appear to have no budget at all.
It's described as a black...( read more) comedy but I don't think I would agree with that at all. It's has funny moments but it's certainly not a comedy. It's more of a look into the life of a boy who's only option left is to end his life. The plot of the film is very good and actually quite surprising. The thing that got to me most was this boy is willing to give up his life to save his elderly father. And when he tells his father, he thanks him. There is no reasoning with his decision. He just accepts it. It's quite heart breaking to watch.
Pablo Schreiber does a very good job all the way through the film and although he is the lead character and most would say I was far from impartial, i'd have to say that it's Moennig that steals the show. Even with very limited scenes and not much to work with, it's clear that she is very talented.
I don't think this film is for everyone. It's no masterpiece or anything revolutionary but it's solid and if your a Kate fan, you might want to check it out at least once.

Really weird, and the visual and audio were very poor quality.

I saw the movie and, frankly, I think it's pretty awful. I just don't rate it with one star because of Katherine Moennig, who's a great actress and should be recognized more. She was what got me through the film.
