MCT:February 17, 2007A classic movie for baseball fans. "It Happens Every Spring" is classic movie that baseball fans would love. It about a Professor (Ray Milland) that invents a lotion that repels wood. He puts on the baseballs and the balls repels the wood bats. With the lotion, He becomes a World Series pitcher for St. Louis baseball team. Paul Douglas does great as the old cranky St. Louis's baseball catcher. Alan Hale Jr.(who plays the "Skipper" on "Gilligan's Island" TV series) is in the movie. this a excellent family movie that is fun to watch. It is a must see by for the baseball fans.
