A classic comedy with the greatest cast ever put together! A real favourite of mine, I must have watched it over 100 times and every time I?m in fits of laughter! They don?t make them like this anymore. It?s in the top 5 comedies of all time!
A truly epic comedy. superb cast and cameos, insuperable hilarious premise, pure classic slap-stick.
Yes, it's too long, yes, it's overblown but it's one of my dad's favorites and there are some good laughs in it. If you've got three hours to kill, you could do a lot worse.

good & real about greed... very funny with a fantastic cast... lots of LOL moments... a classic model for comedies...
The movie holds up, even in today's standards, and offers a good amount of comedic moments and laughs. The cameos throughout are well placed and work with the movie.
If you are into comedies or films with the theme of going after a treasure, you should check out this film.
A must see if you like all the older comedians from the 60's and 70's.
