Here's an interesting one for the mind! Carly Pope and Melonie Diaz are absolutely great in this comedy about a group of friends that try to reflect and express their opinions to the mass. The movie generalizes over their schemes and mishaps. Carly Pope is absolutely hilarious. W...( read more)orth seeing.

An excellent movie - not what I was expecting, but in a good way! The acting, cinematography, storyline were all great. One of the best indie films I've seen in a long time.

I actually turned this one off at one point. It seemed not all that good and cringeably stereotyped with the lesbian/militant feminist thing. My husband was in the room and I actually felt embarrassed as it was so anti men and switched it off. Does equality for women have to me...( read more)an degrading men?! Surely that makes us as bad as what we're fighting against. His comment was that they were all have to be so angry in these films. I don't think it helps the whole lesbian/man hating cliche to keep doing these portrayls, and alienates straight women, who are surely just as likely to be feminists. I was kind of disappointed in this because I really liked "But I'm a cheerleader" - that one actually did have something worthwhile to say.
I decided to watch the end on my own later on, and while it t did improve a little, not enough to change my overall impression. I liked the actress who played Sadie, she was reasonably convincing, and also the older actress who played her girlfriend. The rest of them were very cliched. Disappointing.

The title really has nothing to do with the movie.. there is a blurb at the very end that mentions the name.. but the plot really doesn't tie in to that.. The acting was good.. some characters seemed to be just thrown in.. (such as Jenny ...( read more)Schimizu's character) This is another movie to bring out my inner riot grrl.. and the very brief glimpse of Clea Duvall was another bonus... she's one of my favorites.. even just a few seconds is excellent..

I enjoyed the movie. It was an interesting take on showing a person coming into their own. I love the fact that it actually acknowledged that the world is pretty sexist toward woman.
