It's better to watch a little of this at a time since it's incredibly long. However it's a well made and original telling of the Jack and the Beanstalk story.

i saw this when i was like, idk, younger, and i liked it a lot. i haven't been able to see it since...
This was an absolutley incredible movie! The acting was intense and the story was interesting. The music was just as good. -

I like modern twists on classic fairy tales, especialy when they work out well like this one did. This makes fairy tales seem so much more realistic than most movies do. I love it how the giant is really a good guy after all.

Well that's 4 hours of my life I'll never get back. Shame really as it's a good idea for a film. If only it'd been 2 hours rather than 2 x 2 hours. At one point the film goes so slowly it almost stops.
