All the shlock they couldn't show you in the second movie is made into a one hour documentary on their stunts and some of the moments from the movie. The emphasis on the final gag about the "pube beard" is a bit overdone, but the rest is bone crunchingly funny.
as you would expect by the numbers flick from the jackass team. it still is a sfunny as hell but this is the weakest in the series so far just for the fact it is the material left on the cutting room floor from the first film so there are no massive hysterics as they wud have not been cut. but still some great laugh out loud moments. long may the punishment continue !
its basically all the bits that they couldn't fit into number 2 - but they are awesome (hence 2.5) i couldnt imagine a world without them seeing the light of day - God bless America for creating such a funny thing :)
Outtakes and unused footage shot for the second film made into a film of it's own, for the money obviously. And it just get's even crazier. This is some of the nastiest shit you'll ever see on film. Hilarious in a way though.
Who's really going to argue the importance of Jackass 2.5? Its small enough to have fit in the bonus features of number two but funny enough to be strung out on its own in all its mis-shapen mangled glory. To quote chris pontius in an interview on the special fetures of the box set, we are just trying to squeeze every last drop we can out of the jackass money train.
Justins Best Bit: Pretty much anything Steve-O does.
I don't really feel like watching this the whole Jackass thing is not really changing it's getting to be the same thing been repeated. This only lasts about 60 mins which is not even worth the time.
In tradition with the second Jackass feature, 2.5 is a lot of fun and is truly hilarious. I will admit that I hated the first movie...but with the second movie the boys redeemed themselves and I found myself enjoying the film to a great extent. This instalment is simply an hour of material that didn't make the cut of the second movie. It's strung together with a bunch of behind-the-scenes and interviews discussing conceptions for skits, what happened, etc. There is no plot here, which is to be expected from a Jackass feature, but basically it's a bunch of idiots who do dumb skits that are dangerous, sometimes sickening, and sometimes downright vomit-worthy. There's stacks more (uncensored) nudity and bad language, not to mention graphic images of people puking, and taking a dump among other repulsive things. For some of the skits, the nudity was too severe for theatres. There's lots of bare butts, and even full frontal nudity. The film is not a masterpiece, nor will it ever be, but it's a bit of fun narrow-minded entertainment. But seriously guys, someone will eventually get hurt quite severely. By far better than the first film, but not as good as the second. This film will have you rolling on the ground with laughter, or grabbing a vomit bucket. Either way it's fun. Worth seeing, but it's nothing groundbreaking. Be sure to stay through the credits
This newest installment of the Jackass installment is jam packed with the stuff that couldnt fit into Jackass Number 2. Being hilarious and all my only complaint with this was it wasnt near long enough and could have containted a few more added perks for the Jackass addict like myself.
A compilation of all the bits that never made it to Jackass two... Including lots of nudity... lots of anal jokes and pranks but sadly... not many laughs!
Jackass 2.5, for basically being a bunch of extras from Jackass 2 that they could not get in the movie was a great movie.
The only reason I wouldnt give it a 5 like the past two "Jackasses", is because there was SO much talking and not really that much more skits. It was still cool to watch though and preps you up for Jackass 3
Jackass 2.5 is more like a making-of featurette or a full-length special features DVD-- interviews fill in spots between stunts, and the stunts themselves aren't as funny. You understand why they were cut from the film.
As much as I liked Jackass Number Two, this was terrible. I'm actually glad that they removed these scenes because if they didn't, jackass Number Two would've been a lot worse than with the scenes removed. The stunts in this weren't even funny, they were just stupid. Basically everything involved in these stunts involved something going in or out of someones ass. That seems a bit gay to me. Bam was the one who volunteered the most so he must be gay. And I think Jeff Tremaine has an obsession with penises. In the interviews he has penis replicas all around his office and he has a Jackass Number Two poster that appears behind him with Steve O flashing his. I suggest you don't watch this unless you like watching guys putting this in each others asses. Very disturbing, not even funny and plain gross.
Plot: JACKASS 2.5 includes never-before-seen footage and interviews.Final Verdict I really like watching Jackass 1 and 2, but this was a waste of time. It would been better to release this as an extra DVD for Jackass 2. But always painfull to see.
This just wasn't the .5 i was hoping for. It basically comes off as a lesser jackass, much the same way as Dirty Sanchez does. The boys talking between the less than great extra scenes.
So are funny, some are obvious tacked on elements, but the Jackass boys are always entertaining.
I still stick by that it's just getting more out there and the extreme nature of it may one day take the charm away, but for now, this was a fun extra entry before jackass 3 hits next year or so and a nice filler. Just not quite the GREAT freebie extra it wanted to be.
It was so funny. Had a lot of ass in it,lol. I cant believe they showed Bam's dick, lol. Its super funny!!! I have to see Jackass The Movie, surprising I haven't seen the first one, anyways it was AWESOME!!!!
