Jackass is heaven for people who love watching people do crazy shit. This is for all those people out there that love getting their friends drunk and seeing what stupid stunts they will do. The movie is full of the Jackass norms, there's bulls, snakes, piss, shit and other stuff you just don't want to talk about. If you like the show and liked the previous two movies, there is no reason you shouldn't like this one. Sure, it is the same exact thing, but it just never gets unfunny.  The movie has a few new favorite Jackass moments for me. There is the stunt where Knoxville gets laid out by Jared Allen. Before it, Allen is asked what his job is and to this says, "To murder Knoxville's face!" Another new favorite is the midget fight in the bar; fucking hilarious. And last but not least, I loved the Grandpa segment, where Knoxville makes out with his supposed granddaughter. All I have to say is that is one sexy granddaughter they got to play that part. A lot of the stunts are repetitive. Yeah, they get Bam with snakes again. But what makes it still funny is that they take stunts they've done in the past and just make them crazier or grosser somehow. God, the Sweat Cocktail almost made me puke. A majority of people who are out of twenties aren't going to like this form of bodily humor. It's gross and it's dangerous, but who cares, because more importantly, it's funny. R.I.P. Dunn

  The MTV series known as Jackass has been highly popular since its first episode in 2000, originating from previous TV show, cKy. But in 2004, Jackass got it's own movie, then a sequel and then in 2010, the third installment was released - in 3D! Now, I was renting this DVD and managed to get a copy in 2D, so I have no idea if the 3D element makes a difference to the movie experience or not, but, either way, it is a barrel of laughs! If you haven't seen a Jackass movie before, let me break it down for you. It's basically a series of crazy, crude and generally outrageous stunts placed in a film one after another. At first, I thought it wasn't really a film and wasn't going to be very good. But after the first 5 minutes after the intro, I forgot about that and was able to enjoy it for what it was. Clips in the film varied from Johnny Knoxville pretending to be an old man and doing ridiculous things, to Bam Margera urinating on the cast and crew on set, and from tooth removal using string and a lambourghini, to an enormous hand knocking people over. Although majority of the stunts were very funny, others remain comical, whilst being either disgusting or harsh. For example, Steve-O's 'Poo Cocktail Supreme' (it's best if I don't try to describe this), or when Bam Margera's fear of snakes was exploited in a prank in a very harsh and slightly disturbing manner. Other than those occasional moments, the film was a complete knock-out. I would recommend it, but be sure to have a strong stomach or at least don't eat whilst you watch this film.

  Jackass 3 is pure fun, the show and the movies. Johnny Knoxville and his boys are hilarious and what makes the film work is that they are just a couple of dumbasses having fun with themselves and people. Some jokes were a little too sick, but only a slight problem in one of the funniest films you will ever see, and I hardly ever see a comedy nowadays that is great besides The Hangover and Pineapple Express, this is in the leagues with those films I think.

  I think even before the sudden death of Ryan Dunn, it was safe to say this was probably going to be their last film, unfortunately it wasn't as good as number two. It all looks a bit tired, they all look a bit old and apart from a few really good skits, it's more of the same and not particularly good. It is nice however to see a bunch of misfits who generally love each other having fun together, so as much as this isn't a great film I am sad to know that this will be their last outing. Every film should have an introduction from Beavis & Butt-head!

  Well this third entry is a sign that the guys from Jackass were struggling to find interesting ideas for stunts. Thought at times pretty funny, the film never does do anything new or exciting and it simply more of the same recycled ideas from previous shows and films. Add the useless 3D element, and it doesn't look any different from the last two Jackass films. Except it's more gross. I usually am able to stomach some of the shit that these guys pull off, but with this one, it was pretty hard. The film relies more on disgusting stunts and pranks to try to "create" something funny. At times it works, and at other times, it doesn't. The boys of Jackass seem to be running out of ideas and its showing on screen. Some of the stunts are pretty funny, but I felt that the gags here were lazy, and recycled. Preston Lacy, Steve O and Wee man are as usual, not that funny. The funniest here are bam, Johnny Knoxville, Ryan Dunn and Dave England. The stuff they did in the film was pretty funny. However Jackass 3-D is a lazy film that doesn't break new ground, it's the same stunts, except with nastier results. For a third entry, its a decent film. Nothing more than that. The film provides good laughs, but it's not original whatsoever. The film like I said is one that doesn't do anything new or orginal. A decent comedy, but filled with the same stunts we've seen in the first two films, only now they're a tad more nasty.

  Third theatrical venture based on the MTV show. No plot, just a compilation of Johnny Knoxville et all, performing various dangerous, crude, ridiculous, and self-injuring stunts and pranks. Emphasis on crude as these gags are a bonafide modern day freak show. Other times the antics seems to threaten lives. One ugly sketch has the participants using a beehive filled with angry bees as a tetherball. Every once in a while there is something ingenious that makes the effort worthwhile. Phantom high speed cameras which shoot at 1,000 frames per second are frequently used to record the action at jaw droppingly slow speeds. The opening and closing sequences (as well as many of the stunts) were filmed this way. These bookends are moderately interesting shorts of visual style. Later, one fascinating stunt uses the force of a powerful jet engine to launch random items (shoes, fresh produce, people) at mind-blowing acceleration. It's a spellbinding mixture of science and idiocy, the coolest thing in the whole 94 minutes. If more of the exploits were of that variety this could have been more entertaining. Instead we get acts so hazardous they court death, threatening to turn the proceedings into an actual snuff film. In other parts we are presented with gags so repulsive they literally make you gag. That this is a mainstream movie is a shocking document on what is now socially acceptable. I'll spare you any details of what you'll encounter, but trust me, it's disgusting. I suppose there is honor in warning people from seeing it, however. It was a loss of innocence for me.

I felt bad for Bam in one scene that has to do with one of his fears. I have the same fear of this certain reptile, so I completely understand his reaction. I on the other hand wouldn't have been so forgiving. So if you're a fan and loved the show and previous films, then you will love this flick as well.   Just like the others, a hilarious, prank-filled 100 minutes that is impossible not to love thanks to the willingness of each contestant to do anything required. This is a tough movie to really "rate", but I really enjoyed it. It always helps when you grow up watching these guys as I did, as soon as I think of "Jackass" I flash back to middle school. Not for all tastes, obviously, but if you liked/loved the other stunts these guys have done - nothing has changed. And it's wonderful.

Not to mention, this probably wasn't the best movie to watch on a red-eye flight to London. All my "Ooooh"s and laughs had to be hushed a little. This was my favorite of all 3 of the Jackass films.

  To love this movie you have to be a fan of Jackass and that I am. I've worshipped their idiocy since the beginning and ten years since the show's inception, these guys have still got it. Jackass 3 is filled with such nonsensical hilarity and done with such camaraderie that I wish the Jackass crew will never give up what they do. Yes, some stunts are pointless and disgusting but that's what makes this movie so great, jaws will be dropping in sheer shock value and heads will be shaking in disbelief. Finally something in 3D that is worth you forking out the extra cash. Jeff Tremaine always directs the openings and endings of this franchise to perfection. There's a tender poignancy in the ending, flashbacks from the first ever stunts, along with cute kiddie photos and Weezer's Memories blasting out in the background, it has you thinking is this the end for Jackass? I applaud you guys, another hilariously imaginitive and crazily gross movie from the most likeably bonkers guys around.
