Jackass: Number Two

Bam Margera, Chris Pontius, Jason Acuna, Johnny Knoxville, Preston Lacy

When "Jackass the Movie" was released in 2002, people were outraged. Critics called it "a new low," "a plunge into depravity," "a sad commentary on our degenerating culture" and "a disgusting, repulsi...( read more  read more... )ve, grotesque spectacle." Unfortunately for them, here comes "Jackass Number Two." Simultaneously raising the stakes and lowering the bar, "Jackass Number Two" unleashes the cast and crew as they get even uglier around the globe.

A very stupid movie that is somehow worth watching! It is so stupid it is sad, but that might be the good part about it.

I am a huge Jackass fan and I had a blast watching this movie. It would an odd way to express this but the cast have matured since the first and the pranks in this are incredibly clever considering.

    Johnny Knoxville
...( read more)has said in interviews that he drew inspiration for some of the stunts from cartoons such as "Tom and Jerry" (1965) and Looney Tunes. The scene where he blindfolds himself, for example, comes directly from an episode of "Tom and Jerry" (1965) where Tom does much the same thing. He has also acknowledged a debt to Wile E. Coyote in the scene with the rocket.

Sick and cruel, Jackass: Number Two is yet another dirty stunts flick with nauseating jokes. However, this was a perfected sports comedy with a very talented cast and some familiar and new faces. B: Good.

I used to be a big fan of the TV show but this movie was terrible. Not really that good at all except some stunts which made me laugh.
