The other classic Harryhausen monster flick. Again it looks awesome and still beats modern day oppersition. The cast are great and the creatures tremendous, Talos and the skeletons of course being the stand out moments.

The ultimate Harryhausen flick, on par with Seventh Voyage of Sinbad. Great family flick with Harryhausen's most famous stop-motion animations.

Jason and the titular 'nauts search for the Golden Fleece, encountering Titans, harpies, clashing rocks, a hydra, skeleton warriors and the Gods of Olympus. Pleasant family adventure for the whole family, although contempary kids may not appreciate the artistry of Ray Harryhause...( read more)n's stop-motion animation as compared to today's more literal CGI effects.

Though the special effects are dated, this classic epic is still enjoyable.

though not quite on par with the other "epics" of its relative time period, this Greek myth brought to life is definitely a unique brand of cinematic entertainment. brilliant effects work from Harryhausen is truly the stand-out of the film. the characters are mostly pretty blan...( read more)d and cheesy, except for a comic-relief Hercules and some very believable Greek gods. the story is unfortunately condensed into a little over 100 minutes, so it's not nearly as exciting and adventurous as longer, more in-depth films. the writing is also pretty so-so. I guess the point is, don't watch this film expecting well-rounded, well-crafted moviemaking--but definitely appreciate the early stop-motion awesomeness.

Harryhausen. I solute you. masterfully created, and designed. he deserved a medal or an island of something for that imagery. unfortunately like all harryhausen movies the acting blew and the cast wasn't stacked
