MCT:August 16, 2008jason voorhees is back in end "friday the 13th part 8: jason takes manhattan" in 4 years. reprise kane hodder return to play jason voorhees since "part 7: the new blood". jason voorhees is still killing again and plenty of so gore and the brain out of the blood. so this is so surprise me when the freddy krueger's arm(in 10 year together in the film in 2003 "freddy vs. jason")appear at the end scene.

Jason Voorhess (Kane Hodder) is killed at the beginning of this one only to see his soul transferred from person to person and the people who have his soul do the killing for him.
This is the true end of the Friday The 13th series due to the scene at the end where Freddy's Glove takes Jason's mask into hell. -

I love the Friday The 13th series and although I love the fact that this one tried to change up the tired old formula that the others had it just didn't quite work out. When people see a Jason movie the want Jason, not Jason possessing other peoples bodies and doing the killing. Its just not the same.

This movie has no ties to the actual first 8 parts..In the first 8 parts it was said Jason was an only child yet in this he had a sister..One of the actors in this movie is also in the Friday the 13th series which has no connection to the movie itself but in this movie it has an ironic twist to make you think other wise..Another familiar face make a short cameo appearance at the end of the movie but you need to see it for yourself!!

A horrible horror flick. I hate this movie with a passion.
There plot makes absolutely no sense with the other movies and it just pisses me off SO bad.
There are only 2 parts of this movie worth seeing. SPOILERS: 1) The Necronomicon is in it (Evil Dead) 2) Freddy Krueger! (One of the single most awesome movies in all history) -

As a wee lad, Jason was my favorite horror icon. Probably still is to this day. I was psyched when I heard about a new Jason flick, but being a young kid in the single-digit age range, I was forbidden. It'd be many years until I watched this, only to find out what a piece of shiznite this film is. Okay, it's probably not that bad, but for Jason to be reduced to a parasite? Maybe the filmmakers tried to go for something new after countless sequels of pretty much the same thing, but it doesn't work in Jason's world. I wanna see the man behind the mask (or at least wearing the mask), not this wormy thingy. Hey, at least it sets up for what would become Freddy vs. Jason about a decade later...

Strange..the best production values of the series..original plot, except it's lame..all-in-all only the first and last 5 minutes are cool. The rest is just a zombie movie. (A decent one.)
