I guess the only way is up! ..and into the future. It?s one way of continuing the franchise anyway. Not a bad film but I didn't like the cyborg Jason at the end much. Still, they can always do prequels to this film before he was frozen. How about a film about how they tried to ki...( read more)ll him? A bit more original than the upcoming remake by Marcus 'I haven't an original bone in my body' Nispel!

Guys, it's okay! He just wanted his machete back! It's gonna take more than a poke in the ribs to put down this old dog. Kay-Em is a lot cooler than this movie is

I went into Jason X thinking that this movie is going to be crap. It's Jason in space, of course it's going to be crap. And it is crap. Yet I'm still satisfied with it. It exceeded my expectations. Yeah, he was captured, frozen, found four hundred years later, taken on a ship, th...( read more)awed, starts killing, blown to hell, regenerated, kills some more, but I was actually entertained because I knew I was going to have to think. It's like watching a Joe DeRita Three Stooges movie. You know it sucks, but it's still a good time. And he kills David Cronenberg. THE David Cronenberg!

Jason X is the most fun in the franchise after the original. Yes it's stupid, but nowhere near as stupid as the body hopping of the last outing. Jason X is a simple fantasy of "what if Jason were in space?". He finds futuristic ways to kill people but mostly relies on ol' faithfu...( read more)l. Some of the lines are genuinely funny "That'll do it" and "It's OK he just wanted his machete back". Lots of gore and a plot that is basically a cheap version of Alien. It kept me the most enthralled since the original and with punctuation between kills expanded to include an alien shoot 'em up simulation etc. It makes a change from all the same characters/settings, but in a good way. Fun if you like dumb enjoyable horror and naff sci-fi.

what can i say. i was trying to fall asleep late the other night and this was on cable. i thought it would help, instead it was like watching a train wreck, terrible but hard to take my eyes off of because of the sheer horror. not horror scary, but horror at the fact that some...( read more)one thought anyone would be entertained by this.

Pretty fun movie to watch, I guess I would give it three stars! I probably wouldn't watch again though. Loved David Cronenberg's bit part in the beginning of the movie, hilarious! Of course the movie was predictable, but the characters were good, especially Lexa Doig as Rowan ...( read more)and Lisa Ryder as the android Kay-Em.

Too over the top, even for a Jason movie. But at least it was Kane Hodder. This guy rules.
