"Jasdon X" is a reboot, but not very good reboot of the "Friday the Thirteen series!"
"Jasdon X" is a reboot, but not very good reboot of the "Friday the Thirteen series!"
This movie was completely out of its mind and hilarious. Whoever thought of a cyborg Jason in the future? It's so campy it's good. You can't help but watch Jason gloriously hack up future punks and sluts.
Pretty fun movie to watch, I guess I would give it three stars! I probably wouldn't watch again though. Loved David Cronenberg's bit part in the beginning of the movie, hilarious! Of course the movie was predictable, but the characters were good, especially Lexa Doig as Rowan ...( read more)
Too over the top, even for a Jason movie. But at least it was Kane Hodder. This guy rules.
I guess the only way is up! ..and into the future. It?s one way of continuing the franchise anyway. Not a bad film but I didn't like the cyborg Jason at the end much. Still, they can always do prequels to this film before he was frozen. How about a film about how they tried to ki...( read more)
this is my first time i saw this jason voorhees in the big-screen in theater(yeah finally). kane hodder back again performed as jason voorhees again. jason(later on he made new-look). they should called it "jason goes to space".
It's the future, you should have a backup plan for a cyborg Jason on your spaceship.
What the fuck were they thinking when they made this?
I mean, could you get a more hack plot?
"HEY, let's send Jason to the future! He looks a little bland, let's make him a robot!"
Another cliche shit horror movie.
Jason kills people, we get it.
the best horror movie when the legend jason is back like old time and he is out in the space
second worste jason movie. The murders were decent but it was over the top cheese. I heard it was suppose to be part comedy....? why they would do that to a jason movie i dont know. Anyways still a fan of the series if you stop at number 8.
its not as good as the others. but it certainly has its slasherness? Its great though
Cronenbeg how could you?!?! HOW COULD YOU?!?!?!!!? Shame on you!!!. "Eastern Promises"?... OK, I forgive you. -By the way this is a piece of crap.
People take this movie entierly too seriously. Those who complain about the sheer absurdity of it must've missed Fridays 2 through 9. I believe this movie never intended to be taken seriously, even umongst the diehard fans. Think about it. It's Jason...in SPAAAAAACE! No more fant...( read more)
James Isaac must have been made to make this movie. Jason Voohees has been the star of so many Friday the 13th, and other spin off Camp Cristal Lake movies and none of them are anywere near as bad as this movie is. Set in the future a space crew find a body frozen in Cristle Lake...( read more)
This film is a joke and they know it, and that's disappointing to me. Wish they tried to make it good instead of comedy/scifi-horror. The story (not the script but the story) could've worked and worked amazingly had there been more talent and more money involved. All said this...( read more)
movie was ok i liked his uber transformation but he didnt do anything when he transformed there could have been more
tihs is sooooo scary. i bought a VCD of it and i knew that this the sequel of Freddie Vs. Jason. this story happns in the yr of 2070 where there's already Earth 2, and our currnt planet is destroted already:[[ soooo scary:]
This movie has it all. A face gets shattered, decapitation occurs and even an occasional limb falls off. Good times.
Allthough this film has lots of cool and fun action scenes , it also has alot of bad points. The storyline should of never been put in space and in the future, some of the acting was dreadful. It failed to be any scary and the effort put into making likeable charachters was very ...( read more)
Jason X or how to kill a franchise.
What was James Isaac thinking??? He probably said: Letīs make a new Alien type-film. Yes, Jason is alive (again) and he is more ridicuolous and chessy than ever.
RIP Jason Voorhess.
:| what a waste of time. It seems they have finally run out of ideas.
This wasn't that good. There wasn't much gore, the setting was stupid, and I just didn't really enjoy it. I got bored of it. It starts out well though.
Up until now, the worst movie I had seen was Ace Ventura...this one takes the cake! Jason in space makes for a "horrorble" sci-fi film. The film doesn't develop its own sense of style...it's sort of a mix between Resident Evil and Star Trek - and that's in no way a compliment! ...( read more)
The new film is way better than this. Jason X has Jason on a ship in outer space in the future killing once again. The result is an awful movie that even makes some of the other sequels look good.
I read reviews that said this was the worst Jason movie made and that it was the worst movie ever made and I have to say I don't know what they were talking about. I found Jason X to be yes a little out there for A Friday the 13th sequel but still a fun gory pleasure. The acting ...( read more)
Guys, it's okay! He just wanted his machete back! It's gonna take more than a poke in the ribs to put down this old dog. Kay-Em is a lot cooler than this movie is
