I got his two DVD's after watching the arcmind the terrist clip on youTube and watching one or two others on there, this DVD is one of the funnyist things i have watched in a long while, no stop laughter all the way through
Normally I'm terrified of the ventriloquist dummy but these, not at all. Loved Walter and Peanut but could care less for the stereotypical black man and red neck. I'd definitely watch another one of his comedy specials.
Another hilarious dvd from him. The new characters he does are also very funny and I liked the skit he performed in the beginning before bringing out the others.
Such a talent! I adore Peanut and Walter but Peanut especially is amazing because doing his movements and accentuating that hyper personality just shows how talented Jef-FAH-FAH truly is!!
Awesome! Jeff Dunham is an extremely funny comedian. Saw quite a few partial scenes on youtube, so I just had to download the dvd. I was sad to see that Achmed the dead terrorist wasn't in it. However, I loved Walter. He is the funniest of the dolls along with Achmed. The pimp was also cool, but peanut and the stick was very uneven. Jeff also seemed to get tired towards the end of the show, as you could more and more clearly see his lips and throat moving. Dunham was really funny in the warm-up as well, without the use of his dolls. Everybody should watch this one!
I've heard some good things about him and even caught him on a late night show (can't remember if it was Letterman or someone else.) I enjoyed that, but this show, "Arguing with Myself" was all right. I don't really like race jokes. Wide variety of characters though and the man does have some real talent. I particularly like Jose Jalapeņo because it's such a crazy idea. I'd like to give another one of his shows a watch.
Haha! Even funnier than Spark of Insanity. Peanut and Walter are even funnier when they arent censored. Fantastic, funny....fantastically funny! Check it out!!!!
I checked this comedian out by recommendation from friends...and I'm glad I did. Jeff's a ventriloquist...and he does it very well. Also making his characters hilarious =D
Verdict Jeff Dunham is the most funny ventriloquist i have seen in years. His fast performance, funny jokes and charisma, makes him one of the best performers in years. If you have the possibility to see his show in America, Go see it, it is funny as hell. you laugh. For the rest of the world, go buy the DVD!!! Highly recommended show!!!!
I was looking forward to watching this because I do enjoy a good ventriliquism act now and again. He wasn't bad in that respect but the comedy to be honest wasn't as intelligent as i'd hoped it would be. But i'm greatful I watched it because it made me realise something. Brits do it best. I have finally discovered that if you want high quality stand up comedy the best place to go is to the Brits. They just seem to have an edge over the American's. I've yet to discover any American comedians that can prove me wrong. Feel free to suggest people because I wouldn't like to say it was true. But the way things are heading I believe it hard to argue with me.
Jeff Dunham is one hilarious dude. With the arguments that go on between him and his puppets, you almost forget that he really is, simply, arguing with himself.
I've seen this comedian at least fifteen years ago on one of those stand up comedy shows and I never forgotten Jose Jalepeno on a Stick. Walter ws the best though. I never stoped laughing while listening to Walter. The rest of the puppets were pretty funny, but Walter nwas the one who stole the show.
