I watched this after my stepson pointed it out to me a sketch of Achmed on Youtube and we got the dvd of this on ebay. My god i was laughing so much I really hurt myself and at one point nearly choked on my coffee. This is Hilarious and if like me you have never seen this guy before, I urge you to watch him. He is brilliant and very funny. Also his puppets are brilliant too as they seem to have a life of their own and they even take the mickey out of jeff and most of his mishaps. Three of the characters I saw in this made me laugh until my ribs ached. Walter the cynical old man, Achmed the dead terrorist and Peanut are those characters. If you love a really good laugh see this and you will literally be on the floor holding your sides. Yes it's that funny. I want to see his next one too when that comes out. I have seen loads of comedians but nothing or no-one has made me laugh as much as i did watching jeff and his characters explode on stage with one- liners and action gags. take it from me Jeff is one to watch out for. "What's that? Peanut-fu. What happened to Kung fu? Can't do kung fu. Why not? 'Cause Kung fu you need two arms and this one is f**ked up".

Wow... he's just so funny. His stand-ups in the beginning of his shows are just as funny as his stuff with the puppets. His family seems very fun!

Again, Walter and Peanut (my favorite!) stand out but I also enjoyed Achmed, Jose, and Melvin (moreso than Pimp Daddy & Bubba J., although I like them too!)

I love how Jef-FAH-FAH's lips hardly ever move with Peanut, by far the LOUDEST and most HYPER member of the troupe! Just absolutely amazing ventriloquism!!!

When I was a teenager, I caught Dunham's act on one of Comedy Central's many previous incarnations (Ha!, The Comedy Network, etc) and thought he and Peanut were hilarious. Unfortunately, my sense of humor and Dunham's have parted ways in the intervening years. I was pretty disappointed. Dunham comes off more like an engaging speaker at a corporate retreat. The jokes are tired, obvious, and Dunham will beat a joke to death. His jokes about his Prius, his chihuahua, suicide bombers are kind of amusing at first, but after the third or fourth time it just feels lazy. There were a surprising number of gay jokes, which I probably found hilarious at 15, but now they feel like just that, juvenile. If Dunham were more intelligent on top of his ventriloquism talent, this could be a helluva act. Achmed the dead terrorist could be a brilliantly subversive and thought-provoking bit, but unfortunately it boils down to jokes about bombs and virgins and saying "I'll kill you" umpteen times. I think what I find most problematic about his act is that it certainly has its funny moments and with the eye-catching, expressive puppets and innocuous comedy bits, I could at least potentially recommend this as a good family rental to enjoy with the kids. Unfortunately, there's quite a bit of profanity in it as well. So that nixes that. Would only recommend this to 15-year-olds and fans of acts like Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy. Not for fans of acts like Patton Oswalt or David Cross.

Go Achmed!! And Peanut with José Jalapeño of course... "on a steek!"
Only thing that keeps it from perfection is Walter, never liked him.
Jeff Dunham gets funnier with the years, maybe it's the experience that does it. This man is so skilled!

With exception of the Walter act, this second DVD was superior to the first one. Walter was a little bit more funny on "Arguing with Myself", but was still hilarious. The superhero dude was low-key but really funny. Achmed the dead terrorist were without doubt the high-point of the show though. There's already a facebook group called; "SILENCE....I KILL YOU", which I myself is a member of! Peanut was a lot better this time once he got over the ".com" joke, which seemed to last forever. Jeff Dunham is the King of comedy, and you owe it to yourself to check out the DVD(s).

This was an absolute laugh riot! I never did like Peanut but the new addition of Achmed the Dead Terrorist was perfectly timed and perfectly acted out. But the best part about this video? Even before Jeff brought out the puppets, his stand up routine had me laughing so hard I could barely breathe!!! If you can only spare a few minutes, just watch the opening, then skip to Achmed - you can skip Walter & Peanut and you won't really miss anything ~
