Shaad Ali Sahgal's Bollywood musical romance Jhoom Barabar Jhoom begins when Rikki (Abhishek Bachchan) meets Alvira Khan (Preity Zinta) at a train station. Each one tells the other the history of how they met their significant other. The two obviously have an affinity for each other, but nothing comes of it after the train arrives. Surprisingly the two couples end up at the same establishment, leading to some surprising revelations. ~ Perry Seibert, Rovi

Critic Reviews from Rotten Tomatoes

"Flirtatious repartee between glamorous stars in travel-poster international locations; a gratifyingly simple plot with puzzles and sleight-of-hand surprises; and, at regular intervals, outbursts of gaudy, energetic dancing infectiously exploding."
‑ David Chute, L.A. Weekly
"It would be a spoiler to describe the specific complications those crazy kids get into, but it's a ball."
‑ Frank Lovece, Film Journal International
"The deliriously exhilarating twenty-minute dance climax plays like an open dare to the audience to not jhoom, barabar, jhoom--and only the most severe of grumps won't succumb to the spell of the siren song."
‑ Michael Dequina, TheMovieReport.com
"Jhoom is an empty, frivolous and thoroughly calculating bit of fluff; it's also ridiculously enjoyable."
‑ Jason Ferguson, Orlando Weekly
"Now that's entertainment."
‑ Maitland McDonagh, TV Guide's Movie Guide
"While the humour is at times contrived, the curiosity factor and the slick style keeps you engaged."
‑ Poonam Joshi, BBC.com
