After seeing this movie in school, it lets me know how much Joan of Arc (Jeanne D'Arc) went through in order to fulfill her mission. She's still admirable even if you don't believe in the visions and to this day she is one of my role models in life; a daily inspiration.

A brilliant and inspirational movie tells a great true story about a young girl who had visiond from god telling her that she had to unite france under the king. She led her army to victory over the English at Orleans. Later she was captured and sold to her most hated enemies, she was declared a witch and burned at the stake. Many years later she was pronounced innocent. In 1920, she was canonized as a saint, oh my gosh when i saw this movie i was so inspired to be good and to be able to be like her im inspired by her shes like someone amazing like wow.How can one person be so brave to take on the whole of the world in name of god
    but trully inspring

This was an excellent presentation of Joan's story, especially when you consider made for TV, but I still prefer "The Messenger" over this.

Beautifully filmed...though not historically accurate. Lee Lee Sobieski is a pleasure to watch...and so is Jaqueline Bisset!

This is one of the worst versions of Joan of Arc. It drags on and seems endless of the inevitable historic end.

Believe it or not?this is good movie to watch with a bunch of marines, and a bunch of beer, and a typhoon going outside. . .least when we were in Okinawa, we thought so.

One of the top movies in my list, the adaption of Joan of Arc struck gold when casting Leelee Sobieski as the lead!

I liked this version of Joan of Arc's better than the one with Mila Jovovich for the fact that I really see Leelee Sobieski potraying the role much better, her acting was so convincing and really made an impression in the legend...

This made for TV movie is one of the better religious epics in quite some time. I've found that most of my friend's fail to see it in the same light, so maybe I just have a thing for LeeLee Sobieski. The film has a pretty good B level cast that does a wonderful job of telling the story. The movie The Messenger was released in theaters around the same time, so I think this film may have been overshadowed a bit, despite being a better film.

Supposedly the most historical (English)presentation of the most fascinating character in all history.

A truly good history movie, a bit too long though. It kind of sucks that you know the end results before you watch it. Throughout the whole movie I kept anticipating her being burned.

I don' think Leelee Sobieski was the best person for this role, but she did get better toward the end. Good movie otherwise.

Good movie, this girl's life has not been easy and a moviie of her life is interesting. But I think it's not violent enough, the other version, The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc, is a little better.
