MCT:March 6, 2008Interesting supernatural horror fantasy from Germany! This is Roland Emmerich's second film before he had a successful carreer in hollywood. It's quite a dark and bizarre little film with a scary ventriloquist dummy whom will remind viewers of Fats from "Magic".
It's a cross between "Pan's Labyrinth", "Poltergeist" and even 1945's "Dead of Night" combined with good special effects, a nice story, some emotion and a nice music score. The German language full version is much better then the heavily cut U.S. American dubbed version with better character development, better scene development and a better music score. -

All I remeber from this movie is that fucking doll that scared the shit out of me as a kid and till this day i still dont like that fucking doll I honestly dont remeber much about the movie except that the dolls bad and he trys to kill the kid or some shit
