Fun movie,nothing too special,just a simlple movie to spend the evening with,beautiful views,fun dialogues,i jus really dissappointed that in our country we haven't seen true 3-D movie
pretty cutsie for an adventure flick but still made my daddy jump in a few scenes without catching it in a 3D showing. im reserving a star for when i wach it in 3D
Now this movie was okay to say the least. However, i wish i watched it in 3D... thats whats disappointing. This film however was short and climatic and cinematic but still. SHORT. ... maybe it was all the fancy pictures and effets speciaux,,,, but. ok stills. Nice plot. BRANDON FRASER THE CANADIAN (:
Actually the story was too simple. I went to watch this with some friends and one of them falled asleep! This shows that most of the people just call this good because of the effects that, actually weren't that good.
Wow was this show fun or what? like his other mummy flick, this show starring Fraser was another no brainer. This flick is a whole jumble of interesting ideas, quirky acting and action sequences, mixed in with a whole lot of running and screaming! im just bummed i didnt get to watch the 3D version :P
lovely special effects... Beautyful images... i wasnt particularly interested in watching this movie but i am glad i watched it. Brendan fraser was a real nerd and Josh Hutcherson was a real modern kid and i would love to belive that in the center of the world there is just another world below that houses all the rare and unfound animals.
The only thing i can say is go watch the movie its not half bad.
a action-pack movie which is vry thrilling:) well i m sad that i couldn't watch it in 3D!!!!! how great it would have been.....well that's the only regret......Y CAN'T I WATCH IT IN 3D...
i was expecting a lot from this movie which is probably why i got disappointed when i finally get to see it. sad to say but its not even worth seeing eventhough brendan fraser is here. =(
Surprisingly decent minus some cheesy Hollywood lines and repetitive catch phrases that most big budget movies have. I enjoyed it, its not a classic but it was interesting. Like a light hearted Mummy without a Mummy.
THIS MOVIE WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its worth seeing again. The visual effects, the imagination, the acting, everything was perfect and just absolutely mind-blowing...worth seeing again!!!
Very interesting movie, well not the movie itself, more like the story. Maybe making a movie from a classic story makes it better but was a funny and entertaining movie overall. Good for movie rental night at home.
I did not saw it in 3D but I found it was really really good and I can't wait for the next one because at the end, They clearly say that there will be an other one
Even though I did not see this film in 3D (cough Rocko cough..... it was Rocko's fault....) the film turned out to be better than I expected. The whole movie is pretty much filmed in a studio, and in no way feels ligate, it should have been called "Journey to the Center of the center of a Green Screen." (bad joke) Brendan Fraser adds some humor and fun to the film, and for the most part I was entertained. Don't see the movie unless it's in 3D though, because the parts that would of been 3D, like a yoyo coming right at the screen, will annoy you. It wasn't horrible, but I really will never see it again.
Pre-teen kids will likely enjoy this one. I found it predictable with a lot of gimmicks obviously included only because of the 3-D element. I would say wait until it comes out on DVD, but then you lose the effect of the 3-D on the big screen. Without that, I don?t see any reason to watch it.
Loved the characters in this movie! Didnt get to see it in 3D thou..but still was a fun, exciting movie! Even a bit campy, like a great B drive-in movie!! I think thats what endeared this movie to me so much!!
Yes... it is fully 3D and it looks gorgeous at some times... but it looks really awful at other times (not many though); but any way, the story is swallow, the acting couldn't have been worst... the music isn't what i would dare to call good... But HEY, it looks pretty on 3D!!! that sure gives it some extra points... so if you feel like watching a 3D show with no depth... look no further
