Without doubt one of the best music documentaries in the history of ever.
I got the feeling it must've been difficult to get the interviewees to stop talking once they started.

Wonderful Film. Took me back to my younger me/times. Aside from many great things about this film - thought the way the film dealt with and told/shared the epilepsy story, suffered by Ian Curtis, was wonderful and remarkable. For anyone who "suffers" epilepsy, the 10mins in this film about the topic, are worth watching for. Music is brilliant. The ending is so, so sad. I cried, seriously!

Interesting documentary, even for a non-Joy Division fan like me. I liked how it was shot - the combination of past and present, and also how you got multiple different perspectives on the Ian Curtis story.

The documentary Joy Division is a perfect complement to Control, the beautifully realized fictionalized account of the life and times of Ian Curtis and his band.

what can you say about a documentary??...well it was informative and interesting and yet for me not really worth watching on the big screen-this type of documentary is the type of one that you would watch on either bbc2 or channel 4 one night.film for the music fans.(although this film did give me a little insight and history to the great city of manchester of which i now inhabit!!!).
