A very good modern thriller that has elements from other great thrillers like Duel, The Hitcher. It was enjoyable and will have you on the edge of your seat at times.

Very very suspenseful, not gory, just basically made me a nervous wreck through the whole thing!!! Hahahahahahahaha!!! Very good, but I still prefer the suspense thrillers of the 1930's and 1940's. Those had the absolute most superb actors!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Critic Reviews
Dahl works the audience like the dial of a car radio, testing out all manner of squeals and static and all-out, high-pitched terror. full review
Dahl permeates the film with enough quirky detail ... and horror-movie staples ... to keep things interesting. full review
Much more effectively terrifying than the usual overplotted, underwritten Hollywood thriller. full review
No one wins awards for movies like this, but this is escapist entertainment raised to the level of art. full review
You want to be scared and have a few laughs and not have your intelligence insulted? Here you go. full review
A really satisfying suspenser, but also really, really fun. full review

November 29, 2008i love this movie, both Steve Zahn & Paul Walker look Great in this movie. :) LeeLee was Perfect for this movie too. I own this one on DVD. I watch it every now & then. I bought the 2nd one, I like this one better. I hate it that they brought back that Crazy Ass Mo-Fo trucker in the second one. he Really, Really needs to Die already! I was hoping he'd die in the second one, but Alas, they let that Mo-Fo live yet again. so you know there's gonna be a third. If there is, I HOPE they Kill him before the End of that one. Moral of the story is: Do NOT Piss off a Trucker, if you do, most likely, you'll end of DEAD or Scarred for Life! if you like Blood, Guts & Gore, go buy the second one, cus you'll love that. I own both. I like both. but I Hate that Crazy Ass Mo-Fo trucker. Good thing it's only a movie.
