Another instalment to the well-loved horror franchise that is Ju-on. Old Lady in White still incorporates Ju-on's trademark, which is scary ghost faces that will effectively bring out the scream in you. This movie tells a story of revenge. Revenge by someone who blames her friend for neglecting her at a time she sought and needed her help. Personally, between Old Lady in White and Girl In Black, I'd prefer Old Lady in White to Girl In Black, mainly because of the storyline which was more engaging and kept within its limits. For what it's worth, these stories did enough to pique my interest in the original Ju-on mythos. For starters though, I have to get used to how "The Grudge" can be used as a plot device for ghouls to get created or passed on, as I felt Old Lady in White had it quite nailed down.
