Ultimate manly man Arnold Schwarzenegger learns what it's like to be an expectant mother in director Ivan Reitman's high-concept comedy. Schwarzenegger plays Dr. Hess, a medical researcher working on a revolutionary drug to help mothers carry endangered infants to term. When government regulations prevent Dr. Hess from testing the drug through normal channels, his partner Dr. Arbogast (Danny DeVito) develops an unorthodox solution: they will steal a female egg and implant it in Hess, who will carry the child himself. Critic Reviews from Rotten Tomatoes

"A happy, healthy, bouncing baby of a movie."
‑ Rick Groen, Globe and Mail
"As a comedy, Junior has its share of laughs -- but no more than its share."
‑ Mick LaSalle, San Francisco Chronicle
"Not one of Schwarzenegger's best"
‑ Jon Niccum, Lawrence Journal-World
"A história é absurda, mas esta é uma daquelas comédias leves que servem como bom passatempo."
‑ Pablo Villaca, Cinema em Cena
"Obviously not one of the films that cause some people to call Reitman the "king of comedy""
‑ Ken Hanke, Mountain Xpress (Asheville, NC)
"The plot is a more fertile ground for comedy than the 'sperm milkshake' that made Schwarzenegger and Danny De Vito brothers in Reitman's Twins."
‑ Peter Travers, Rolling Stone
"Junior demands more range from its leading man than he's capable of giving. The predictable result is a big-budget mess more likely to elicit groans than laughter."
‑ James Berardinelli, ReelViews
"To quote Last Action Hero: "Big mistake!""
‑ Luke Y. Thompson, New Times
"Bizarrely amusing and quotable."
‑ Karina Montgomery, Cinerina
"I've seen better movies, but I've certainly seen worse."
‑ Christopher Null, Filmcritic.com
"It's goofy and ridiculous and preposterous, and yet it makes you feel good, and there is something oddly heartwarming about the sight of this macho guy melting with feelings of protectiveness and maternal concern."
‑ Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times
"This comedy is to this year's holiday season what Mrs. Doubtfire was to last year's, a mildly funny but utterly conventional and obvious farce."
‑ Emanuel Levy, EmanuelLevy.Com
"Cute, amusing, but never hilarious."
‑ Michael Dequina, TheMovieReport.com
"A pregnant Schwarznegger? Whose brainchild was this? A repugnantly lame and unfunny comedy."
‑ Brian Mckay, eFilmCritic.com
"While initially amusing, it gets to be an old joke fairly quickly."
‑ Chris Hicks, Deseret News, Salt Lake City
