Critic Reviews

  • Laura Sinagra, Village Voice

    Hackneyed star-brite Brittany Murphy-Ashton Kutcher rom-com.

  • Randy Cordova, Arizona Republic

Rubbery-faced Kutcher is a nice match for Murphy, and their chemistry keeps the movie afloat even when the gags stretch thin.

  • James Berardinelli, ReelViews

    Just uninspired and mostly unfunny.

  • Robert Denerstein, Denver Rocky Mountain News

Plays like a dumbed-down version of a formula that's already had most of the smartness wrung out of it.

  • Desson Thomson, Washington Post

Yes, it's as bad as it looks.

Semi-fun movie that's really not that good. Filled with smelly cheese. Little Josh Baskin from "Big" plays Ashton Kutcher's best man, he still looks the same which is weird because he's supposed to look like Tom Hanks now.

The ending was sweet. Not that funny. But some scenes are kinda funny.

It?s really, really shit! It?s not funny and the two leads are really annoying. There is nothing to like about this film!
