Critic Reviews

  • Owen Gleiberman, Entertainment Weekly

... a variation on Freaky Friday buffed with a bit of 13 Going on 30's yuppie-career-princess gloss.

  • Richard Roeper, Ebert & Roeper

... a real piece of junk.

  • Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times

    It's safe, competent and bland.

  • James Berardinelli, ReelViews

From my perspective, it's watchable, but barely, and nothing I would go out of my way to locate, even if going 'out of my way' represents using a remote control to change TV channels.

  • Peter Howell, Toronto Star

Word on the street -- we're not sure which street -- has it that Just My Luck is Lindsay Lohan's final teen comedy. If so, the timing couldn't be better.

I don't care what anyone says, this movie is amazing. It's a really fun premise with two really great leads who truly have chemistry, how can you not enjoy it? I think the main reason that it's a cut above others like it is the great New York backdrop. It automatically… More
