The opening scene is just fantastic. The action roots you to your seat. Dragonball Z boasts the fastest action in an anime, but I think this beats it.

This anime is just pure eye-candy. The animation is so fluid as it blends 2-d and 3-d effects that it's just lovely to behold. The action is amazing, and the English dub was one of the best I've heard. Highly recommended for any anime or sci-fi fan.

A confusing story at times but still this is a great anime with plenty of superb battles and excitement. The visuals are pretty amazing. Maybe the story will make more sense to me with the next chapter - Karas The Revelation.

This movie doesn't make a lick of sense. I tried. I really tried to understand this movie. There's a lot of big ideas at work here but even the biggest and most abstract ideas require some sort of foundation. Some structure. Shit, I dunno, some character development. It's ...( read more)all style and no substance. Sure, the mixture of 3-D and 2-D is amazing looking but that's all the praise I can offer this run of the mill anime flick. Only for the people carrying around Death Note messenger bags.

Stunning, nothing short of amazing. Pure eye candy. The plot got a little confusing for some, but I'm used to complex anime like this.

only problem with this movie is that some main characters are never delved into to explain who the hell they are
